Mi chiamo Andrea sono italiano e sono nato nel 1975 e vivo vicino a Torino.

Faccio il fotografo di matrimoni da 15 anni, ma ho maturato un'esperienza nel mondo della fotografia iniziando a 18 anni a lavorare in un grande laboratorio fotografico dove ho imparato la tecnica dello sviluppo su pellicola e la stampa di vari supporti negativi, dalla camera oscura alle nuove macchine stampatrici, la correzione dei colori fino ad arrivare alle nuove tecnologie digitali. Il laboratorio è stata un ottima scuola che mi ha fatto capire e conoscere che cosa si nasconde dietro e dentro una fotografia.

Mi appassionava anche l'idea di fotografare, perciò dopo avere affiancato un amico fotografo e dopo vari corsi di fotografia di matrimoni, ho deciso di aprire uno studio mio e di fare di ogni matrimonio una esperienza nuova, una lezione di lavoro e di vita.. Il mio modo di fotografare è quindi raccontare la realtà, infatti quando ho le mie Canon in spalla non esiste più nulla, cerco di cogliere al massimo ciò che mi circonda. Non cerco di copiare stili o modi di altri fotografi e maestri famosi perché il modo di scattare una fotografia deve essere mio, solo mio. Credo che un fotografo sia prima di tutto una persona e quindi debba fotografare con le proprie emozioni e con la propria capacità tirare fuori l'autenticità a spontaneità del suo soggetto. In un matrimonio, inizio a raccontare la giornata con i preparativi per creare anche con gli sposi e quella giusta armonia e confidenza che ci permette di scattare senza imbarazzo ed in modo naturale. E' un momento importante perché permette di essere sciolti e liberi, di catturare le espressioni di gioia, di commozione, di ansia degli sposi e di chi gli sarà accanto, dalla lacrima della mamma e le risate delle amiche alla commozione del papà. I miei scatti vogliono essere naturali ed assolutamente privi di pose. Mi piace creare un rapporto di "amicizia" con i futuri sposi, in modo da poter entrare al meglio nell'intimo di quella giornata, quindi quando è possibile incontrandoli.. anche per un caffè da buon italiano!

Tutto il mio lavoro riesco a realizzarlo anche grazie all'aiuto delle mie collaboratrici Sara e Bruna che mi affiancano durante i matrimoni e in studio condividendo lo stesso modo di vivere un matrimonio e vedere ciò che rappresenta una fotografia, un' emozione per sempre.

My name is Andrea, I'm Italian and I was born in 1975. I live near Turin, in a small village surrounded by hills, woods, corn fields, trails and nature.

I've been a wedding photographer for 10 years, but I have gained experience in the world of photography since I was 18 in a large photo lab in my area.  I was hired as a chemist, but then, I learnt the technique of film development and printing , due to the curious and innovative work, from the darkroom to the new printing machines, color correction up to the new digital technologies.  The workshop was an excellent school which let me get what lies behind and within a picture.

I was also interested in to take pictures, so I joined a photographer and several courses of wedding photography and decided to open up my atelier and make each wedding a new experience, a lesson in life and work.

So I went on in recent years, comparing with some photographer friends, browsing the new types of equipment and new ways in the shots, until I realized that I like the spontaneity of people, things. So I followed this line.

I try not to copy styles or ways of photographers and other famous masters because I try to have my personal way of taking pictures. I believe that a photographer is firstly a person and who should shoot with his emotions and his ability to pull out the authenticity and spontaneity of his subject.  An emotion stop for a moment to be able to review and relive the intensity over time.

During the wedding, I begin telling the day starting from the preparation of the bride and the groom to create the right harmony and confidence to shoot without embarrassment, in a natural way. It is an important step because it allows you to be free and at your ease, to capture the expressions of joy, excitement, anxiety, as well as  the feelings of those who will be next to the couple, from the mother's tears and the laughter of friends to the emotion of the father.

I want my shots to be natural and completely deprived of poses. My work continues with the ceremony taking pictures of the most significant moments without neglecting and ignoring the rest. At the end of the ceremony, we get shots to friends and family to have a good memory of all the people who have shared such an important day. Later, I like to devote to the couple, in a brief but significant moment I follow them in the fields, or into the streets and shot after shot gather all the feelings  and the looks of this important day.  And then: the moments of celebration, the dancing, the newlyweds are unleashed to the music and I can capture some shots in absolute happiness.

In a second step, I check the file and post-production of the shots chosen by the bride and the groom, each photo album is processed according to the selected photos and the couple themselves who are the protagonists.

The photo album will be accomplished  in a simple and clean way because it must give pleasure and excitement whenever you browse.

I like to create a friendly relationship with the bride and the groom, so you can get the best in the depths of that day, so when it is possible, meet them for a good Italian coffee!

All my work is fulfilled thanks to the help of my team Sara and Bruna, who support me at weddings and in the studio sharing the same way of life and having a look at what pictures represent: an emotion which lasts forever!
